Lincoln Brewster’s Signature Axe
Lincoln Brewster’s technique and tone are renowned, and his signature Stratocaster provides a rare peek at his instrument of choice. It all starts with a musical-sounding ash body. Then three DiMarzio single-coil pickups take the guitar’s already stellar tone and inject it with vintage-tinged sonic textures — with zero hum. A treble bleed circuit keeps your tone clear when lowering the guitar’s volume, while an onboard active boost gives your tone a little something extra to push your amp. A mid-boost control adds humbucker-like girth to your playing. The Lincoln Brewster Strat’s Soft "V" maple neck is comfortable as all get out, while its ultra-playable compound-radius fingerboard supplies lightning-fast playability. The Fender Lincoln Brewster Stratocaster includes a 2-point synchronized tremolo and vintage-style locking tuners.
The guitar that changed the world
There may not be a model of solidbody electric guitar that is more ingrained in modern culture than the Fender Stratocaster. Its finely sculpted body, groundbreaking tremolo design, and clear-as-a-bell trio of single-coil pickups come together in an instrument that is embraced by players in every genre of music around the world. This Strat is the direct descendant of all those iconic guitars, solicitously modified with acclaimed Christian artist Lincoln Brewster’s preferred tweaks. Ask any player at Sweetwater, the Lincoln Brewster Stratocaster boasts all the features, playability, and versatility that defines the instrument, along with player-friendly features that you’re sure to appreciate.
DiMarzio Area pickups deliver vintage tone with zero hum
The Lincoln Brewster Stratocaster comes loaded with a trio of DiMarzio single-coil pickups. It has an Area 61 in the bridge and an Area 58 in the middle and neck. What makes these pickups so cool is that they carry a tone of vintage qualities. The pickups from the '50s and early '60s had a unique tonality — steely yet somehow woody-sounding. With the Area series, you get it. And you get it from the Area 61 with no hum and less magnet-pull. When paired with the Area 58s, the combination can go all the way from Nashville to Texas. The Lincoln Brewster Strat also includes an onboard treble bleed circuit that keeps its tone clear and present when lowering your volume. What’s more, the Lincoln Brewster Strat adds a mid-boost control that gives you the extra meat you might expect from a humbucker, and an onboard active boost gives you an additional push for your amp.
Updated 2-point synchronized tremolo
A Fender Strat wouldn't be a Fender Strat without the non-locking tremolo design that turned the world on its ear in the early 1950s. The Lincoln Brewster Stratocaster boasts an updated take on that design that meets the needs of today's players. Its 2-point construction makes action adjustments a breeze while providing plenty of stability. And the pop-in arm mechanism is extremely convenient, holds the tremolo arm from having too much play, and allows you to adjust the tension on the arm.
